Additional Service (Available on Request)

  • Sand Siphoning - a cleaning process that removes trapped waste, detritus, and excess nutrients from beneath the surface of your sand bed. Over time, debris can accumulate below the top layer, contributing to poor water quality, algae blooms, and even harmful gas buildup in the substrate. This service is not included in standard servicing due to the extra time and care it requires. Approximate additional times are as follows:

  • Nano Tanks: +1 hour

  • Medium Tanks: +1.5 hours

  • Large Tanks: +2 hours

Please note:

  • Final pricing may vary based on the time taken to complete the aquarium service, this can be due to tank layout, tank size, level of buildup, and ease of access.

  • In some cases, services such as siphoning may need to be split across multiple visits to avoid disturbing livestock or water chemistry too rapidly.
