Aquarium servicing ensures a clean, healthy, and stable environment for your marine system. Each visit is tailored to your tank’s size, condition, and livestockscription

Typical tasks include:

• Glass Cleaning
  Removal of algae and buildup from the inside surfaces of the glass.

• Filter Inspection and Cleaning
  Rinsing or replacing filter media and checking for blockages, wear, or reduced performance.

• Water Testing
  A water sample is taken to test key parameters. Lab results are delivered within 24–36 hours after the visit.

• Equipment Check
  Inspection of heaters, pumps, skimmers, and lighting to ensure proper operation.

• Algae Control
  Manual removal of nuisance algae from rocks, glass, and other surfaces.

• Dosing (if required)
  Adding supplements such as calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium to support coral health and water balance.

• Livestock Health Check
  Visual inspection of fish, corals, and invertebrates for signs of stress, disease, or unusual behavior.

• Optimal Coral Placement and Advice
  Adjusting coral placement for better flow, light exposure, and growth, along with guidance for future positioning.

• General Maintenance and Advice
  Identifying issues and offering recommendations for care, stability, and long-term success.

  • Sand Siphoning - a cleaning process that removes trapped waste, detritus, and excess nutrients from beneath the surface of your sand bed. Over time, debris can accumulate below the top layer, contributing to poor water quality, algae blooms, and even harmful gas buildup in the substrate. This service is not included in standard servicing due to the extra time and care it requires. Approximate additional times are as follows:

  • Nano Tanks: +1 hour

  • Medium Tanks: +1.5 hours

  • Large Tanks: +2 hours
